Youths Shout Safer Sex

Creative Youths Shout Safer Sex

The “Creative Youths Shout Safer Sex” is a project for young people aged 16-23 years. The Project has done some great work already – aimed at spreading the message about the risks of unprotected sex & HIV by using creative ideas to produce good safer sex messages and images for a bus pass holder. You can see the artwork and the messages in the current edition of “From Dusk to Dawn”.

We want to continue the project – using the images and messages as the ‘brand’ of the Youth project. We want to develop posters, banners and cards to distribute to young people across the city and county – as well as creating a proper web page – with lots of information.

Pozitude is a web site set up by a group of young people who are living with an HIV positive status. But it’s more than a web site, it’s a special place where the clock stops and you can navigate your way without running out of time. You can use this space as a safe place to come and find out about living with HIV.

Sponsored by The Big Lottery, Pozitude, asked for help from doctors, nurses, and other people who know about HIV and hope that you will suggest anything that you might think would help a young person finding out they are HIV positive.

Visit whenever you like, learn about the facts, the fantasies, the realities and the myths about living with HIV. Ask questions and share ideas, come and find friends, but most important keep a positive attitude about your journey ahead.
