Support for people affected or infected with HIV
LASS provides many services for people who are living with, or affected by HIV/AIDS. In partnership with other agencies, we provide a holistic approach to care and support.
Direct Services are free, confidential and individually tailored in consultation with each service user to meet their specific needs. We aim to assist people in making the best choices for themselves, and to maximise their own potential.
Over the years LASS has developed a range of services to help those affected by HIV. These services are designed to provide care, support and guidance for HIV positive people and people affected by HIV living in Leicestershire and Rutland.
Our services are free and confidential and available to anyone living in the City of Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland who is HIV positive, their carers, partners, family and friends.
How does LASS work?
We provide:
- Quality services which meet the needs of each individual. Some people use just one of our services once. Other people use a number of services over many years.
- A safe and welcoming environment for anyone who contacts us. We believe all people who use our services are entitled to dignity, honesty and respect and to be involved in deciding what services they want to receive.
We also work with a range of other organisations who can help – for more information about these organisations please refer to the Resources, Leaflets and Books section of our site.
