Opportunities
We particularly need assistance with “Awareness-raising” about HIV/AIDS & Sexual Health through various events and activities; help with fund-raising, administration assistance, such as reception, cooking, kitchen preparation, drop in services and community HIV Testing.
There are a number of activities you can get involved in at LASS:
- Helping on an information stall at an event or festival.
- Helping to deliver sessions about HIV or sexual health.
- Become a peer educator so you can deliver sessions at schools/colleges and youth centres.
- Getting involved in creating leaflets/posters/ other materials to share promote awareness and information.
- Administration assistance; such a reception.
- Help with fundraising.
- Mentoring- specifically for people living with HIV/AIDS.
