WORLD AIDS DAY 2011 IN LEICESTER, LEICESTERSHIRE & RUTLAND
We are planning our events and activities and want you to be involved.
We have changed the theme a little – using message from the football tournament in July 2011:
One Voice; Many Faces: Kick out stigma & discrimination.
You can get your pledge card from LASS – to make a promise for something that you will do this year for World AIDS day. It might be as simple as wearing a red ribbon – or red clothes all day; you can volunteer with us to help at the events we are arranging; or you may arrange your own event. Nothing is too little and there is no too much.
Include knowing your HIV status as one of your pledges for World AIDS Day 2011. There will be testers at LASS ready for you – and in other locations as well – just ask.
Download resources and the pledge card from our website and go from there. We have red ribbons and other resources – just call in for what you need.
Tell us your ideas – and we will add your activity to our list for what is going on in the city and county.
